Set off on a curator-led walk through the Prince of Wales Museum set in a grand Indo-Saracenic building. The museum is especially renowned for its superb sculptures and miniature paintings. Housed in a building that was once a military hospital, the Prince of Wales Museum has been recently renamed ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya’, it hosts collections of natural history, archaeology and art from India and the Far East. Don’t miss out on the rare, noteworthy miniature paintings depicting the many schools of art from across India.
