Dudhwa’s unique landscape of marshes, grasslands and forests showcases an incredible variety of biodiversity, as it straddles the Lower Himalayas and the the alluvial plains of numerous rivers. The reserve was created to offer a haven to the royal Bengal tiger – among the park’s most sought-after sights, and the swamp deer. Explore this habitat by jeep, and look out for a range of other species like one horned rhino, Bengal florican, Hispid hare, chital, hog deer, wild boar, sloth bear, blue bull, as also marsh dwelling creatures like the monitor lizard, otter, gharial, and over 450 species of birds!
