Ujjain, a city of many names is an important pilgrimage site in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Mahakaleshwar Temple, one among 12 sacred sites associated with Lord Shiva, the Bade Ganeshji temple in honour of the elephant-headed Lord Ganesh, the Harsiddhi Mataji temple devoted to three goddesses, among other temples makes Ujjain a fascinating stage for spirituality.
